By taking these factors into account the naturopathic doctor treats the whole person by using a flexible treatment program to meed individual needs.

Naturopathic doctors are preventative medicine specialist.  They assess risk factors and hereditary susceptibility to appropriately treat and prevent illness.  Patients are taught the principles to which to live a healthy life.   Prevention of disease is accomplished through education and a lifestyle that supports health.
